The new FB layout – Timeline(and how to get it)

Howdy!

Y’day I activated Timeline on my FB account, as a developer. I must say it is very innovative and you practically can see everything you want from sharing photos,  apps, statuses, ‘like’s, etc., since your birth in FB. So you can see this is the Facebook Timeline. Very innovative and nice ideas have gone in making these however, I felt slightly, it was a little clustered but yea it is very nice. They have also changed the profile or info page, which is like this:  As you can see here they have changed from a single column layout to a double column layout. They have also removed ‘Music’, ‘Movies’ , ‘Books’, etc., which I felt is an unwanted change. Seems the F8 Developers Conference ’11 has got a lot of changes too Facebook, but some of them are truly unwanted, I felt so. Seems all these reformation is for it to compete with G+…….. Feeling it is the start of the ‘Social Networking Sites War I(SNSW I)’, mainly between G+ and FB…….

Ah! Finally they let public to sign up to Google+ and also they finally added the +You button in the Google page for previous G+ users.

Hey I saw these article’s about HDI on the United Nations Development Programme website, so I thought of sharing that with all.

Brief of HDI:
HDI stands for Human Development Index which is a way of measuring human development in a country. It is calculated on these 3 dimensions:

• Health
• Education
• Living standards

It serves as an easy way of representing human development in that country.
It was devised and launched by economist Mahbub ul Haq and later developed further by notable economists like : Paul Streeten, Frances Stewart, Gustav Ranis, Keith Griffin, Sudhir Anand and Meghnad Desai. Later it was Amartya Sen’s work on its capabilities and functions that provided the framework.

2012 scenario

Though being a science lover and an anti-superstition-ist , I am posting this.
Donno know why everything is going on the way Charlie Frost(the crazy radio guy from 2012) tell’s to Jackson Curtis, “There shall be earthquakes around the world, lot’s of epidemics shall take place, lot’s of natural calamities:the dollar rate ‘BOOM!’, the stock markets ‘BOOM!’ and everything around the world goes ‘BOOM!’(I think he meant terrorist attacks).
Everything in the world is happening the same way. Is this jus’ a coincidence or is the apocalypse really gonna happen?
Criticism needed, please……

Foolish mobile

Whoa,
Y’night I tried something crazy on my mob. I save my own number as a contact and actually sent a message to it, it appeared sending and in a jiffy, sent and in a second I got the same message which showed Amogh Chakravarthy has sent you(Amogh Chakrvarthy) a message. I know I am foolish to do this? However, how foolish can mobiles(donno if this thing is only in my mobile, hope so not) be? Totally crazy.
